About this chain

Goal and input

Every return ends in restock, open-box, refurbishment, recycling, a supplier claim, or a person, and no return is refused automatically.

The customer's return comment and, once the parcel arrives, the inspector's notes.

return_comment
What the customer wrote on the return form.
product
Product name and category.
inspection_notes
Notes written at the returns bench.
How it runs
  • The reason is asked when the return is created; confirmation and condition are asked when the parcel reaches the returns bench. The chain shows how the answers combine, not one API call.
  • Refund amounts and return shipping costs are decided by your policy in code, never by these answers alone.
