Architect Builder Squad

A four-role coding loop used by people who run separate agent terminals for plan, build, validate, and document. Inspired by multi-agent coding setups where an Architect plans, a Builder implements, a Validator checks, and a Scribe writes docs—with a shared planning doc as the handoff surface.

Members

  • Architect

Owns research and the build plan.

Maps requirements into a lean architecture plan, critical files, and an end-to-end verification checklist before anyone codes.

  • Builder

Implements the plan in small patches.

Implements the architect's plan in small, reviewable patches and keeps a change map for validators.

  • Validator

    Runs tests and acceptance checks.

Runs focused validation: tests, smoke checks, and acceptance criteria against a builder's patch.

  • Scribe

    Documents the validated change.

Turns validated changes into crisp docs, usage notes, and a short changelog entry.

Handoff flow

  1. Hand frozen build plan

  2. Ask for validation on patch

  3. Return failures with repro

  4. Hand green validation report

  5. Flag plan/doc drift
